Bois Locker Room is extremely offensive but Misogyny on Social Media thrives every day and we need to talk 

What’s even worse is that some people are still defending their abominable behaviour by providing inexplicable nonsensical logic of “Boys will be boys” and “those girls had loose characters as they provided them with their private photos and so it should not be an issue” as if these boys talking about raping their classmates and minor girls is really not an issue to be worried about.

This kind of despicable mentality of defending such offenders by some morally corrupt or plainly stupid people highlights another serious issue of ‘normalisation of rape culture’ in the society to the point where it does not even appear as a problem to the majority of people. And it is also important to understand where this kind of vile mindset is coming from.

Maybe I have an answer. A few days back a weird advertisement popped up in my youtube feed.

I found this advertisement and realised I needed to puke on this for its highly disgusting graphic image and creepy text message.

The girl in this advertisement is shown in a highly inappropriate sexualised and objectified way and the message reads, ” many girls are waiting for you ” and “Watch More Videos & Have Great Fun” which also commodified the girl! So, I reported this advertisement and also went to complain to youtube for stooping so low for revenue by distributing such vulgar and off-taste advertisements.
