‘Taare Zameen Par’ or ‘3 idiots’, which one explains the Indian education system better?

Why rote learning has become a feature of Indian Education System and how students are compelled to run in a rat race and to perform as per the educational conventions has to adhere to cramming because of course our high schools and universities want standard answers.

Many professors are even explicit about it, they tell us how to score more- do some definitions and quotes by heart and then write lengthy answers. It is not their fault either since the questions by authority are framed in a way that one needs to answer in such a framework within a time limit, leaving no space for producing perspective of their own from what they have learned.

3 idiots though claiming to talk about the system, don’t talk about the system. It instead talks about the actors, they talk about the victim of that system and then blame them for being mediocre learners and rote learners. It is so common for students to cram or learn answers by a rote method not because they are less intelligent and can not produce their answers, it is because they know their intelligence will be judged by their marks.
