It had knowingly concealed the information on the outbreak of Coronavirus in China. It suppressed the voices of Chinese doctors and journalists who tried to inform the world about the outbreak of the Virus and deliberately denied that the virus spreads from human to human.

It is alleged by the US that China had underreported the spread of Coronavirus and deaths in China to the World. It did not act against the Virus to put a Nationwide lockdown to contain its spread during its initial phase after the outbreak and did not impose any travel ban due to which the Virus got spread from China to the rest of the World.
By doing so, it broke the World Health Organisation (WHO) convention that requires the state to inform about any occurrence of the outbreak as soon as it discovers it, so countries could prepare appropriate measures on time. While WHO instead of holding China accountable for the spread of Virus, acted as its aide and had parroted the Chinese claim in January that Coronavirus does not spread from human to human.
