If there is one thing, which unites people across religions and sees no discrimination, it is the belief in the supernatural, a world of occults and charms possessed by ghosts and thrived by Phony guardsmen of the great who perform the auspicious role of getting rid of ghostly possession.
While all this seems to be harmless at face it has cost millions across the world to lose their lives and mental sanity.
Each time a priest performs an exorcism to get the evil spirit out of the body, or worse yet, the mentally ill are sat upon a throne without even realizing it is made of ignorance.
A Disruption in brain anatomy, neurodevelopment, or circuitry is proven to produce odd beliefs or bizarre behavior which might prompt an uninformed observer to conclude demonic or evil spirit is behind it.
Despite the progress psychiatry as a discipline has made, the lack of awareness is one fatal flaw in the great plan. While pharmaceutical industries keep on developing better and more effective drugs for schizophrenia, the one guy who experienced his first hallucination will brush it off as a ghost sighting.
