Justice for Aditya Prabhu

The mother of Aditya Prabhu, a 19-year-old student who committed suicide on July 19, 2023, has demanded justice for her son.

Aditya was a second-year student at PES University in Bangalore. He was found dead in his hostel room on July 19. His parents said that he had been under a lot of pressure from the university to perform well in his studies.

Aditya’s mother, Preethi Prabhu, said that her son had been a bright student and that he had never had any problems with his studies before. She said that the pressure from the university had caused him to become depressed and suicidal.

“My son was a brilliant student and he had a bright future ahead of him. But he was under so much pressure from the university that he took his own life,” Preethi said. “I demand justice for my son. I want the university to be held accountable for his death.”

PES University has denied any wrongdoing. The university said that Aditya was a bright student and that he had been doing well in his studies. The university also said that it had offered Aditya counseling and support, but he had refused to take it.

“We are deeply saddened by the death of Aditya Prabhu. He was a bright student and we had high hopes for him,” PES University said in a statement. “We are cooperating with the police investigation and we will take all necessary steps to ensure that justice is served.”

Aditya’s death has sparked outrage among students and parents across the country. Many people have taken to social media to demand justice for Aditya and to call for an end to the pressure that is being put on students.

“Aditya’s death is a tragedy and it is a wake-up call for all of us,” said one student. “We need to stop putting so much pressure on our students. They are not machines. They are human beings who deserve to be treated with respect.”

Aditya’s death is a reminder of the dangers of academic pressure. It is important for students to seek help if they are feeling overwhelmed or stressed. There are many resources available to students, including counseling services, mental health hotlines, and support groups.

If you are a student who is feeling overwhelmed or stressed, please reach out for help. There is no shame in asking for help. And remember, you are not alone.
