Supreme Court’s ” India Politics Cleaning Step”
This can really be a game changer for the betterment of true democracy set up in our country which is the biggest democracy and where the electoral politics will finally be ridden off the criminalisation and corruption. The sad part is that Prime Minister had promised this issue under are five main agenda but it was not then maybe due to more criminals in the ruling party! Finally, a step is taken for the democracy and the statehood.
The Supreme Court which is the highest court of appeal in India has once again proven that a word like “justice” is relevant in this corruption era too and with this move, the Honourable Supreme Court has maintained its image of being maybe the only unquestioned “honourable” institution of India and that people can rely on in the midst of hopelessness or disarray .
We can remember or at least cannot forget what PM Modi had promised during his election campaign in the year 2014 and even in the starting of his regime that he would set up a mechanism of the legal system involving fast-track courts for the finishing of cases pending against the accused Member of Parliament and Member of Legislative Assembly and too in in a challenging time frame of one year !
But not even one case could be solved and it has been more than three and a half years and we still expecting a “Modi change” but it is difficult on the PM’s part too as his own party leaders are accused and their numbers are huge but nevertheless government should honestly do something if it is really committed to reforming the system otherwise it is going to be Supreme Court of India in the end where the justice of reform can be sought.
