Double Murder in Bengaluru: Ex-Employee Stabs MD and CEO to Death
In a shocking incident, the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aeronics, a tech company in Bengaluru were stabbed to death by a former employee. The incident took place at the company’s office in Pampa Extension, Amruthahalli, on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased have been identified as Phanindra Subramanya, the MD, and Vinu Kumar, the CEO of Aeronics Media Private Limited. The firm deals with providing internet services.
The police said that the accused, who has been identified as Felix, was a former employee of the company. He had quit the company a few months ago and had started his own venture. However, he is believed to have held a grudge against Phanindra, as the latter had strongly opposed his industry practices.
On Tuesday afternoon, Felix entered the company’s office armed with a sword and a knife. He stabbed Phanindra and Vinu Kumar multiple times before fleeing the scene. The two victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, but they succumbed to their injuries.
The police have launched a manhunt for Felix and are confident of arresting him soon.
The double murder has sent shockwaves through the tech community in Bengaluru. The police have appealed to anyone with information about Felix’s whereabouts to come forward. They have also offered a reward of Rs. 1 lakh for information leading to his arrest.
In a statement, the company said that it was “deeply saddened” by the deaths of Phanindra and Vinu Kumar. They said that the two victims were “valued members of the team” and that their “contributions will be deeply missed.”
The company has also offered its condolences to the families of the victims.
