Locked out of my mind!

If you are one of those people who are struggling with your mental health and productivity, then this article is for you my friend. First of all, there is no need to feel attacked by those so-called posts calling you lazy “You never lacked time, you only lacked discipline”, a global pandemic isn’t the best of the situation to get your life together.

With everything happening around us it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Apart from being a physical health crisis, this is a global mental health crisis too. In a new survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation, 45% of Americans felt that the coronavirus crisis is harming their mental health (19% felt it had a “major impact”).

In India, too mental health issues are on the rise and several Psychologists are reporting anxiety, panic, OCD, and other psychological diseases among the people. In fact, the announcement of lockdown itself threw a lot of people into anxiety attacks. 

To mitigate this crisis, and the mental health impact of it, it is important that you are healthy. To be healthy apart from a nutritious diet you also need to be happy, and stress-free. So don’t let Instagram or Facebook posts bother you that you are doing something wrong. If sleeping a lot is helping you, then do it, you have no obligation to anyone but yourself. Apart from this, there are a few other tips, that are recommended by different psychologists to help you get through this time:
