India’s First AI School Launched in Kerala
India’s first AI school was launched today in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The school, called Santhigiri Vidyabhavan, is a collaboration between iLearning Engines (ILE) USA and Vedhik eSchool.
The school will use AI technology to enhance the learning experience for students from grades 8 to 12. This includes using AI-powered tools for personalized assessments, curriculum design, and student support. The school will also offer courses on artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.
“This is a landmark day for education in India,” said Dr. V.P. Sukumaran, Chairman of Santhigiri Vidyabhavan. “We are proud to be the first school in India to offer a truly AI-powered education. We believe that this school will help to prepare our students for the jobs of the future.”
The school was inaugurated by former President Ram Nath Kovind. He said that the school is a “bold and innovative step” that will help to “transform the way we teach and learn.”

The school is located in a spacious campus in Thiruvananthapuram. It has state-of-the-art facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, and a library. The school also has a dedicated AI lab, where students can learn about artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.
The school has already received a lot of interest from students and parents. The first batch of students will be admitted in January 2024.
