Judicial Reforms: Need to change

Setting time limit –

Judges must deliver judgments within a reasonable time in matters both civil and criminal to prevent further pendency and clear the already existing backlog of cases. The advocates too should be discouraged from taking adjournments unless necessary and that too by following the established law in Civil and Criminal Procedure Code.

Improving Infrastructure –

Boosting Infrastructure with the help of current technology will not only help in setting records straight but also make smooth the process of delivering justice.

Many a time a number of cases are filed on similar points and one judgment can decide a large number of cases. Such cases should be clubbed with the help of technology.

It can also help in circling out areas with unnecessary delays by maintaining statistical data and keeping a record of vacancies in different departments.
