‘Taare Zameen Par’ or ‘3 idiots’, which one explains the Indian education system better?

Two greatest movies of all time among Indian audiences are on the most revered theme of Indian Education System, Taare Zameen Par, and 3 Idiots. Both of these have Mr.Perfectionist Amir Khan in the lead role, which one has done better in explaining the realities of the Indian education system and struggles of students within?

The former movie was a story of an 8-year-old boy, Ishaan Awasthi who academically performs very bad despite trying to learn because he suffers from dyslexia, the later was about an engineering college student, Phunsukh Wangdu continuing his education under the pseudonym of ‘Ranchoddas Chanchad’ or nickname ‘Rancho’ who is academically very much bright and is a topper at the highly prestigious college among engineering students, ICE – Imperial College of Engineering and that too despite not being studious as he is simply genius or a prodigy.

Though both have very different and highly contrasting characters of the main protagonists, both play their stories in the context of the Indian Education System. While both the stories attempt to criticize the Indian Education System where marks are almost considered everything in a student’s life, 3 idiots fail to tell us the effect of the Indian Education System on students.
