He sits back on his scooter and heads swiftly towards his destination to meet someone. After 2 Kilometre, of driving, he reached the place he had headed to. It was a vegetable shop. He places his order and gets some fresh vegetables he was looking for. He gets back on his scooter and drives with vegetables.
As he was driving, he felt the air and realized that it now felt fresh and clean compared to what it used to feel on average days, and also there was no noise. He felt like for the first time, he could hear the chirping of birds clearly which was so melodious and he got back to his sweet childhood memories. How he used to play cricket with Amit and Shivam after school till each of their mothers came and dragged them to their respective homes to study.
He remembered the period when the city was not so congested, air would feel so breezy and clean every evening making people come out of their houses to feel the beautiful environment. All the children would play various types of outdoor games. As he ponders over all his past memories of Delhi, a sudden thought hammers him hard, Delhi is not Delhi anymore! he says in his mind and continues,” I don’t get that similar vibes of warmth and happiness in Delhi Now” He thinks about how his city has changed in the last 25 years.
